Health Care Reform Update
Biosimilars and Medical Device Tax |
Fast and furious negotiations continue in Washington to finalize the health care bill. Pennsylvania Bio has been in contact with our Congressional offices on priorities of the industry, but we believe there are two issues that our members should call Senators Casey and Specter and your representative to ask for their support. For biotech companies, provisions around data exclusivity in the biosimilars pathway are at great risk. For device companies, provisions have been proposed within the medical device tax that would be an improvement over the original language.
