Pennsylvania Bio has teamed with Life Science Analytics to launch a new database on the Pennsylvania Bio website—Pennsylvania Bio MedTRACK.

For Pennsylvania Bio members, media and legislators, Pennsylvania Bio MedTRACK provides a wealth of information on the bioscience community in Pennsylvania. The database allows users to search for company information, product information, pipelines, and more. Additionally, users can search for companies by geography, including county, city, or zip code. The search capabilities of Pennsylvania Bio MedTRACK allow users to choose a disease category and subcategory to research Pennsylvania Bio companies working in that area. Users can view product pipeline data and more. Also available are business descriptions, product summaries, product details, recent financings, corporate partners and more.

Commitment to Pennsylvania

As a Pennsylvania-based company, Life Science Analytics is supportive of the industry by teaming up with Pennsylvania Bio to provide a central source of information on the biosciences community in Pennsylvania through Pennsylvania Bio’s website, www.pennsylvaniabio.org.  Currently, the database. Pennsylvania Bio MedTRACK, provides anyone who visits the site with an overview of companies in Pennsylvania, including business descriptions, location and website.  For Pennsylvania Bio members, media and legislators, a login system that will be launched later this summer provides much more detailed information. Members will be contacted by Pennsylvania Bio to establish log-in information. Non-members who are interested should contact Pennsylvania Bio or visit www.pennsylvaniabio.org.

The site features several ways of searching for information: company name, therapeutic focus and more. Through the login system, members are able to search by disease state, finding those companies working on therapies for cancer, cardiovascular disease, conditions of the central nervous system, infections, genetic diseases and much more. In addition, searches can be conducted based on geography within Pennsylvania, clinical trial phase for development-stage therapies, deals and alliances that allows visitors to the site to view information on licensing agreements and other deals in order to craft their own licensing strategies and valuations. A keyword search is also available.
