    Life Science Analytics
Life Science Analytics, Inc. - www.lifescienceanalytics.com

Life Science Analytics, Inc., www.lifescienceanalytics.com,  located in Scranton, PA, is a biomedical data company that provides comprehensive pipeline and financial information on more than 6000 biomedical companies worldwide.  Its data and research products serve executives in the pharmaceutical, biotech and financial industries. LSA products, including MedTRACK (www.medtrack.com) and MedTRACK Japan (www.medtrackjapan.com), provide an unbiased, accurate, independent approach to company analysis, whether for partnering or investment purposes.

MedTRACK is the most comprehensive global database of private and public biomedical companies.  Business development and financial professionals use MedTRACK to glean pipeline, financial, competitive product, deals, product sales, mechanism of action, partnering, and patent information on biomedical companies, and products worldwide.  The information can be filtered by disease, products, clinical trials status and results, partnering status, financials, and more.

Life Science Analytics (LSA) currently employs a staff of 80+ people that work to design, develop and market information solutions to support business development activities in the life sciences with a particular focus on pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.  Updated daily, MedTRACK provides an aggregated one-stop, integrated solution for gathering biomedical intelligence, public and private financings, deals and alliances, and up to the minute news.

Our partnership with the Technology Vision Group, LLC (TVG), is addressing the need for more effective and efficient tools for biomedical strategic partnering through TVG’s premier partnering meetings and its portal, biopartnering.com.  Biopartnering.com serves as a registration system, communication center, meeting scheduler, research center, and an event home.  It allows a proactive user to prepare for private meetings with potential partners before attending a conference.  Through a password protected area of the site, one can research partnering opportunities through keyword searches of detailed profiles on all companies, contact other users, arrange private meetings and reserve meeting space at an event.  MedTRACK can be accessed to all registered meeting delegates to research full product pipelines, financial and deal information on many of the bioscience companies attending biopartnering meetings.  MedTRACK will be featured at BioPartnering Europe in London (October 9 – 11) which is the leading independent partnering event in the world, Cordia BioTechnology Convention (October 11 – 13) developed by Reed Elsevier and TVG, a world-class stage where the industry can come together to do business, BioPartnering North America in Vancouver (February 5 -7) and C21 BioVentures in Monterey, CA (May 2006).

Commitment to Pennsylvania and the Future

As a Pennsylvania-based company, Life Science Analytics is supportive of the industry by recently teaming up with Pennsylvania Bio to provide visitors and members with a central source of information on the biosciences community in Pennsylvania through www.pennsylvaniabio.org.  Currently, the database, Pennsylvania Bio MedTRACK, provides anyone who visits the site with an overview of companies in Pennsylvania, including business descriptions, location and website.  For Pennsylvania Bio members, media and legislators, a login system that will be launched later this summer provides much more detailed information. Members will be contacted by Pennsylvania Bio to establish log-in information. Non-members who are interested should contact Pennsylvania Bio or visit www.pennsylvaniabio.org.

The site features several ways of searching for information: company name, therapeutic focus and more. Through the login system, members are able to search by disease state, finding those companies working on therapies for cancer, cardiovascular disease, conditions of the central nervous system, infections, genetic diseases and much more. In addition, searches can be conducted based on geography within Pennsylvania, clinical trial phase for development-stage therapies, deals and alliances that allows visitors to the site to view information on licensing agreements and other deals in order to craft their own licensing strategies and valuations. A keyword search is also available.
